I grow many plants from seed, harvest and dry leaves, petals, and full flowers to boil down for large vat dye, steam dying, or pounding. While working with them, I watch, listen, and smell hoping to be present for what they need to share with me, what I need to learn from them. I also work to be present with our insect relatives who live amongst the plants.
